Fieldays customer prize draw terms and conditions

Entry

1. By entering this Prize-Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge the Smartshares Privacy Policy https://www.smartinvest.co.nz/privacy-policy. Information on how to enter this Prize-Draw forms part of these terms and conditions.

2. Only Eligible Persons can enter this Prize-Draw. To be an Eligible Person, you must have scanned your Smart Band (issued on entry to the Fieldays site) at the Smartshares Booth during one of the following times:

  • Wednesday 10 June 2026 – Friday 12 June 2026: 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Saturday 13 June 2026: 8:00am - 4:00pm

3. By scanning your Smart Band at the Smartshares Booth, you consent to Smartshares using your contact details to send you occasional emails containing educational content, product updates, and related news about Smartshares’ investment products. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

4. Further terms and conditions in respect of the use of the Smart Band can be accessed via the Fieldays website https://www.fieldays.co.nz/terms-of-service. Scanning your Smart Band at the Smartshares Booth constitutes one entry into the Prize-Draw. Each Eligible Person may enter only once.

5. Staff of Smartshares Limited and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this Prize-Draw.


Prize Draw

6. There will be one draw in the Prize-Draw. The winner of the Prize-Draw will be drawn at random from a pool of all Eligible Persons on Thursday 18 June 2026 (Draw Date).

7. The first Eligible Person whose name is drawn will be the Prize Winner.

8. The prize will be one Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS) 42mm – Jet Black Aluminium Case with Black Sport Band (Prize).

9. The Prize Winner will be contacted by Smartshares using the email address that Smartshares has for the Prize Winner. 

10. If Smartshares is unable to contact the Prize Winner after a period of four weeks following the Draw Date, having made reasonable efforts to do so, that person’s entry will be declared invalid and the Prize will be re-drawn.

11. The Prize Winner agrees to publication of their name, as the Prize Winner.


General

12. Smartshares reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or attempting to act in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest manner, and to disqualify any entry in the Prize-Draw in its sole discretion without giving reasons.

13. The Prize will be couriered to the Prize Winner within 21 days of the Prize Draw.

14. The Prize-Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or its subsidiaries or affiliates. Participants acknowledge that Apple Inc. bears no responsibility whatsoever in connection with this Promotion. All product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

15. The Prize is not exchangeable or negotiable. The Prize must not be sold or used, donated or given away as part of another promotion.

16. Smartshares will not be liable for any loss, claim, cost, expense, liability or injury (Loss) suffered by any participant in any way associated with the competition including as a result of entry into the competition or winning the Prize, except where such Loss cannot be excluded by law.

17. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
