How liquid are Smart ETFs?
Smart ETFs are listed on the NZX, so they can be bought and sold on any NZX trading day during market hours through a broker or investment platform.
Some investment platforms may group (or ‘pool’) trades, meaning they are traded only at the end of the day or less often. Check with your platform provider for more information.
The ease of buying and selling an ETF can vary depending on the assets it invests in. Some markets have more buyers and sellers than others, which can affect how quickly trades are completed and at what price.
A financial adviser can help you decide which ETFs may be suitable for your investment needs.
If you invest directly with Smart, applications to buy units in Smart ETFs are processed once a month. Please note that if you choose to sell your investment, you will need to sell it through a broker or investment platform.
